From strong roots, the Acorn Group has grown to become a proud, well established oak with sturdy branches, flourishing in the pharmaceutical, laboratories and sales & merchandising divisions.

Established in 1996, the Acorn Group is a renowned organisation thriving in a number of FMCG and Pharmaceutical business categories. Finding a niche in the market, Acorn was born from a decision by Shell South Africa to dispose of their brands that didn't fall directly into the mainstream petroleum industry.

As a result, Acorn acquired celebrated products that were already established household names in both South Africa and the UK for generations. Today the Acorn Group proudly remains one of a very few successful, independently-owned players in an arena dominated by large multinational corporations.

The Acorn Group hub, including head office and factory is situated in North Riding, near Johannesburg. It is from this nucleus that Acorn markets and supplies a wide range of products to the national retail, wholesale and pharmaceutical trade across southern Africa. Our brands are also exported throughout the world.
