Acorn Laboratories was established in April 2006 and equipped with all the necessary safety and analysis support equipment. Acorn Laboratories operates as a division of Acorn Pharmaceuticals (PTY) Ltd. We are currently MCC (Medicines Control Council) and SANAS ISO/IEC17025 accredited. We cater for the food & beverage, pharmaceutical, agricultural and cosmetic industries. Our plans for the future include CHIETA accredited Laboratory Management training courses encompassing aspects of ISO 17025 applications and the development of a wider spectrum of analysis capabilities.

Managed by a highly skilled team from a variety of industries, the laboratory performs successfully under the leadership of Managing Director and Responsible Pharmacist Adelle Dixon. Our laboratory manager, Andrew Tuttelberg (B.Sc. Biochemistry Hons; M. Com Business Management), is assisted by experienced analytical technicians ensuring that analyses are carried out in accordance with international standards and client specific requirements.
