Well known for ensuring that rooms and cupboards remain insect-free, Vapona is a continuous action insecticide strip that provides long lasting control against ants, cockroaches, flies, fish-moths, moths, mosquitoes, fleas and lice.
Vapona is safe for use near people and domestic animals due to the low concentration of its active ingredient, a pesticide know as Dichlorvos (DDVP). Once opened and utilised in its aerated holder, the insecticide is released by continuous vaporisation to create an effective insecticidal atmosphere for up to 90 days.
The product is available in a compact size for use in cupboards and confined spaces, as well as a “room size” pack for areas up to 30 square meters.
Vapona Agricultural Strips consist of a plastic strip with a fumigant action, for the control of banana thrips and mites on banana bunches.
